Old Vintage Campaign Wood Roll Top Camp Table. Could be as old as the 1930s. I just don't know.

I have a very similar table, though mine has a slatted oak top that folds into a box that stores the legs inside. The legs open up into an X . Abercrombie & Fitch has my table in a catalog from the 20's. Years ago I saw a photo of Sir E. Hillary in the back of a Smithsonian magazine sitting at the identical table as mine. I have been trying for years to find the photo...Anyhow, the hardware on your table is exactly the same as on mine and the style is so similar I would believe they were by the same maker. In the 20s camping became an "in" thing and there was a demand for portable camp furniture.
Condition: In good pre-owned condition. Nothing broken. For more condition information please ZOOM IN on photographs.
